We are very pleased to announce that the 7th International Symposium on Ultra-High-Energy Cosmic Rays (UHECR 2024) will be held from November 17 to 21, 2024, in Malargüe, Argentina. The symposium is a new edition of a series of meetings that bring together the UHECR community and that were previously held in Nagoya (2010), CERN (2012), Springdale, Utah (2014), Kyoto (2016), Paris (2018), and L'Aquila (2022).
The latest results from UHECR observations, theoretical developments, and future plans in the field will be discussed. The symposium will focus on the highest energy cosmic rays, as well as on cosmic rays with energies above 1 PeV. The agenda includes invited reviews, contributed talks, and reports from inter-collaborative working groups, all in plenary sessions. Poster contributions are also foreseen. Both oral and poster presentations will be included in the proceedings.
The symposium will be held at the Thesaurus Convention Centre in Malargüe, home of the Pierre Auger Observatory. Malargüe is located 330 km from Mendoza Airport, which has direct flights from Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile and Sao Paulo. Special bus transfers from Mendoza Airport to Malargüe will be organized on November 16th and 17th. Flights from Buenos Aires to San Rafael (185 km from Malargüe) are also available.

Malargüe, located 1400 m a.s.l., has pleasant weather in November with a mean daily maximum of 24.4º C (75.9º F) and a mean daily minimum of 7.3º C (45.1º F). There are several lodging options in Malargüe, but we recommend booking your accommodation at your earliest convenience. For assistance with reservations, please contact Rosa Pacheco, the secretary of the Auger Observatory, at rosa@auger.org.ar. Special rates have been arranged for symposium attendees.
The registration will be open soon, details will be given in a second circular. The fee will include a welcome reception on November 17th and a symposium dinner on November 20th. An optional visit to the Auger Observatory site on November 17th will be organized, more details will be provided soon. If you wish to participate in this visit, please arrange to arrive in Malargüe on November 16th.
