RA-10 VISIT

The RA-10 Multipurpose Nuclear Reactor will be a major scientific and technological center for Argentina. It will enable the large-scale production of radioisotopes for medical applications, strengthen the country’s capabilities in both the nuclear and conventional industries, and create new opportunities for the national scientific and technological system.

Objectives

Consolidate the supply of radioisotopes for medical, industrial, and agricultural use for domestic and international markets in the context of growing demand.

• Ensure and expand the supply of radioisotopes for medical, industrial, and agricultural applications for both domestic and international markets, in response to growing global demand.

• Strengthen national capabilities in nuclear fuel production.

• Enhance research and development capacities through advanced neutron techniques in areas such as biosciences, biotechnology, drug design, and materials science and technology.
